Please read our refund policy carefully before making a booking.

Overview

FlightLight (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to transparent and fair pricing. This Refund Policy explains under what circumstances refunds may be issued for our services.

Visa Application Fees

Embassy and consulate visa application fees are paid directly to the relevant government body (embassy, VFS Global, TLScontact, etc.) on your behalf. These fees are strictly non-refundable regardless of the outcome of your application, including in cases of refusal, withdrawal, or no-show.

FlightLight Service Fees

Our consultancy service fee covers the preparation, review and submission of your visa application documents. The following refund terms apply:

  • Cancellation before document submission: Full refund of FlightLight service fee, less a £25 administration charge.
  • Cancellation after document submission but before embassy appointment: 50% refund of FlightLight service fee.
  • Cancellation after embassy appointment: No refund of service fee.
  • Visa refusal: FlightLight service fees are non-refundable upon visa refusal. However, we will review your case and advise on reapplication at a reduced service fee.

Flight Bookings

Flight booking refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual airline or booking agent. We will always inform you of the airline’s cancellation and refund policy before confirming your booking. FlightLight’s flight booking service fee is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

Hotel Bookings

Hotel booking refund policies vary by property and rate type. Flexible rates are typically refundable within a specified period; non-refundable rates are not eligible for refunds. We will clearly indicate the cancellation policy at the time of booking. FlightLight’s hotel booking service fee is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

Holiday Packages

Custom holiday package refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the individual components (flights, hotels, transfers). Any refund will be subject to the cancellation policies of each component supplier. FlightLight’s package management fee is non-refundable once planning has commenced.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us in writing at info@flightlight.uk with your booking reference, the service you are requesting a refund for, and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days.
